Acceptable Use Policy

FinPress Communications Inc.

Effective Date: July 11, 2026 Version: 1.0

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) defines conduct that is prohibited on the FinancialPress Platform. It applies to every person who accesses the Platform, whether as a Visitor or a Member, and it applies to all use of the Services, including Content, engagement, messaging, profiles, and application programming interfaces. Terms defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

The AUP is the operative list of prohibited behavior for the Platform. The Community Guidelines describe the culture we expect, the Content Policy governs what may be published, and this AUP states the conduct that is not permitted under any circumstances. A violation of this AUP is a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in the actions described in the Moderation and Enforcement Policy, up to and including removal of Content and permanent termination of access. This list is illustrative of the categories of prohibited conduct and is not exhaustive; conduct that undermines the integrity, safety, or lawful operation of the Platform may be actioned whether or not it is specifically enumerated below.

2. Spam and Inauthentic Activity

You may not use the Platform to distribute spam or to generate inauthentic activity. Prohibited conduct includes posting repetitive, bulk, or duplicative Content; flooding symbols, topics, or feeds; attaching irrelevant symbols or tags to reach unintended audiences; posting primarily to drive traffic to external destinations; and artificially inflating or deflating engagement, endorsements, reputation signals, or reports. Mass-produced, shallow, or misleading Content, including material generated with automated tools to farm attention rather than to inform, is prohibited regardless of how it was created.

3. Automation and Unauthorized Access

You may not access or interact with the Platform through automated means except through interfaces we expressly authorize and in the manner they are intended to be used. Prohibited conduct includes using bots, scripts, or other automation to create accounts, publish Content, engage, endorse, report, or message; automating actions to evade rate limits or usage controls; and operating any service that interacts with the Platform without authorization. Legitimate, authorized programmatic access, where offered, is subject to separate written terms.

4. Unauthorized Scraping and Data Extraction

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, index other than through ordinary search-engine operation, or otherwise systematically collect Content or data from the Platform without our prior written authorization. You may not extract, replicate, or reconstruct the Reputation Score, reputation signals, ranking outputs, explainability data, or other derived data, and you may not use them to build, train, or operate a competing or derivative reputation, scoring, ranking, or dataset product. You may not aggregate, cache beyond ordinary browser operation, republish, or resell Platform Content or data in a manner that competes with the Services or reconstructs them.

5. Fraud and Deception

You may not use the Platform to defraud or deceive. Prohibited conduct includes phishing or attempting to obtain credentials, payment details, or other sensitive information under false pretenses; operating or promoting fraudulent schemes, including investment fraud, advance-fee schemes, and deceptive giveaways; distributing false or forged documents; misrepresenting the source, sponsorship, or authorship of Content; and deceiving other Users for financial or other gain.

6. Market Manipulation

You may not use the Platform to manipulate, or to attempt to manipulate, the price, trading volume, or market perception of any security or financial instrument. Prohibited conduct includes pump-and-dump and similar schemes; disseminating information you know or should know to be false or misleading in order to influence a security; coordinated promotion or disparagement designed to create a false impression of independent interest; and publishing recommendations or promotional Content in which you have an undisclosed interest or for which you have received undisclosed compensation. Genuine, disclosed analysis and honest advocacy for a position are permitted; the prohibition targets deception and artificial influence.

7. Coordinated Manipulation

You may not coordinate with others, whether through multiple accounts you control or with other people, to distort the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes coordinated engagement, endorsement, or reporting; brigading or organized targeting of a contributor or Content; artificial amplification or suppression of Content; and manufacturing consensus or the appearance of independent support. Coordination carried out by real, verified people is prohibited to the same extent as automated manipulation.

8. Harassment and Abuse

You may not harass, threaten, intimidate, or target any person. Prohibited conduct includes sustained unwanted contact; threats of violence or harm; encouraging or organizing others to harass a person; publishing or threatening to publish another person’s private or identifying information without consent; sexual harassment; and coordinated targeting. Hateful conduct directed at people on the basis of protected characteristics is prohibited and is further addressed in the Content Policy.

9. Illegal Activity and Prohibited Content

You may not use the Platform to engage in, facilitate, or promote unlawful activity. Prohibited conduct includes offering or soliciting unlawful securities transactions or unregistered offerings; distributing content that is illegal to distribute; trafficking in stolen data or credentials; money laundering; distributing malware; and any activity that violates applicable law. Categories of prohibited content, including illegal, exploitative, and other impermissible material, are defined in the Content Policy, and their publication also violates this AUP.

10. Identity Abuse

You may not misuse identity on the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes impersonating any person, company, or organization; misrepresenting your identity, credentials, affiliations, or professional status; creating accounts with false identities; maintaining multiple accounts to evade limits or enforcement or to inflate signals; sharing, selling, transferring, or purchasing accounts or account attributes; and attempting to obtain, sell, buy, or transfer a Reputation Score. Circumventing identity verification, or providing false information to a verification process, is prohibited.

11. Platform and Ranking Abuse

You may not abuse or attempt to circumvent the systems that operate the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes manipulating or attempting to manipulate the Reputation System, ranking, visibility, or explainability; probing or reverse engineering reputation or ranking behavior to game it; abusing the reporting system through false, retaliatory, or coordinated reports; evading suspensions, bans, or other enforcement; and interfering with the operation of moderation or safety systems. Attempts to circumvent are prohibited whether or not they succeed.

12. Security Abuse

You may not compromise or attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes accessing accounts, data, or systems without authorization; probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without authorization; circumventing authentication, access controls, or security measures; introducing malware or malicious code; conducting denial-of-service attacks; and interfering with or disrupting the Platform or its infrastructure. Good-faith security research is welcome only through any coordinated disclosure process we designate; absent that, testing our systems is prohibited.

13. Commercial Misuse

You may not use the Platform for commercial purposes except as expressly permitted. Prohibited conduct includes unsolicited advertising or promotion; recruiting into paid groups, signal services, or schemes; publishing compensated Content without the disclosure required by the Content Policy and the Third-Party Advertising and Sponsored Content Disclosure; and using profiles, Content, or messaging to solicit in ways that disrupt genuine discussion. Advertising, sponsored content, and any future consent-based commercial features are permitted only through the channels the Platform provides and only on their specific terms.

14. Enforcement and Reservation of Rights

We enforce this AUP under the Moderation and Enforcement Policy, applying judgment and proportionality and giving weight to intent, severity, and history. We may remove Content; apply labels or reduce visibility; issue warnings; restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts; and take other action reasonably necessary to protect the Platform and its Users. Serious threats to safety, security, or legal compliance may warrant immediate action. Where an action affects you, the Appeals Policy explains how to seek review. We may update this AUP as the Platform evolves, and material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms of Service.
