Content Policy
FinPress Communications Inc.
Effective Date: July 11, 2026 Version: 1.0
1. Overview
This Content Policy governs the Content that may be published on the FinancialPress Platform. Where the Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited behavior, this Policy defines the standards that Content must meet. It applies to all Content, including research, analysis, opinions, commentary, headlines, images, links, references, disclosures, profile material, and messages. Terms defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here, and this Policy operates together with the Community Guidelines, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Moderation and Enforcement Policy.
Content on the Platform comes from Users and reflects their views, not those of FinancialPress. We do not pre-screen most Content. We apply this Policy through the review and enforcement process described in the Moderation and Enforcement Policy, using labels, visibility adjustments, removal, and other proportionate measures. Our goal is a platform where careful, honest financial thinking is easy to find and where the standards below protect that environment without displacing legitimate disagreement.
2. Allowed Content
The Platform is designed for financial and market discussion. Content is welcome when it is relevant, honest, and appropriately disclosed. This includes financial research and analysis; investment theses and opinions, including contrarian ones; technical and quantitative analysis; commentary on news, companies, sectors, and securities; educational material; and constructive discussion and debate. Strong and unconventional views are welcome. What earns standing is not agreement with any consensus but the quality, transparency, and accountability of the work, as described in the Community Guidelines and the Best Practices for Contributors.
3. Restricted Content
Some Content is permitted only when it meets specific conditions. Restricted Content may be labeled, limited in visibility, gated, or removed if the conditions are not met.
Compensated or interested Content is restricted and must carry the disclosures required by Section 15. Content that makes strong factual claims about a company or security is expected to identify its sources. Content addressing sensitive subjects, such as another person’s conduct, must remain factual and must not become harassment or the disclosure of private information. Content that is lawful but graphic or otherwise sensitive may be labeled or limited. Where Content requires context to avoid misleading readers, the Platform may attach labels or require that context be provided.
4. Prohibited Content
The following categories of Content are prohibited. Publishing them violates this Policy and the Terms of Service and may result in immediate action under the Moderation and Enforcement Policy. The descriptions below are illustrative rather than exhaustive.
5. Financial Misinformation
FinancialPress is a platform for honest analysis, and the integrity of financial information is central to it. At the same time, the Platform does not decide whether a market opinion, forecast, or thesis is correct, and being wrong about a market view is not a violation. Credibility here reflects honesty, transparency, and accountability rather than the accuracy of any prediction.
What is prohibited is deception. You may not publish factual claims you know or should know to be false in order to mislead readers or influence a security, fabricate data, sources, or quotations, misrepresent the financial condition or events of a company as fact, or impersonate a source of market information. Where Content presents contested or unsupported factual claims, the Platform may apply context labels, reduce its visibility, or route it for review, and the community and reputation signals may respond to it, rather than the Platform issuing a verdict on the underlying market question. Opinion, speculation, and analysis are protected when they are presented honestly as such and are properly disclosed and sourced.
6. Manipulative Content
You may not publish Content designed to manipulate markets or the Platform. This includes Content that is part of a pump-and-dump or similar scheme, coordinated promotional or disparaging campaigns intended to create a false impression of independent interest, and Content that misrepresents its own popularity, endorsement, or authorship. The behavioral dimension of manipulation is addressed in the Acceptable Use Policy; this Section prohibits the Content that carries it.
7. Spam
You may not publish spam. This includes repetitive, bulk, or duplicative Content; irrelevant tagging of symbols or topics; Content posted primarily to drive traffic elsewhere; and mass-produced, low-value material, including automated content created to farm attention rather than to inform. Spam degrades the Platform for every reader and is removed regardless of the tools used to create it.
8. Scams and Fraudulent Content
You may not publish Content that promotes or facilitates scams or fraud. This includes fraudulent investment schemes, advance-fee and giveaway scams, phishing, fake promotions, deceptive solicitations, and Content directing Users to fraudulent services. Content that solicits credentials, payment, or sensitive information under false pretenses is prohibited.
9. Harassment and Hateful Content
You may not publish Content that harasses, threatens, or targets a person, or that incites others to do so. This includes threats of violence, sustained targeting, publication of private or identifying information without consent, and coordinated abuse. You may not publish hateful Content that attacks or dehumanizes people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. Robust debate about ideas, companies, and public matters is protected; targeting people is not.
10. Illegal Content
You may not publish Content that is illegal or that facilitates illegal activity. This includes content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, which is strictly prohibited and reported to the appropriate authorities; content that facilitates human trafficking or the illegal sale of regulated goods; unlawful securities offerings or solicitations; stolen data or credentials; and other content whose publication or distribution violates applicable law.
11. Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement
You may not publish Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others. Post only material you created or have the right to use, and attribute sources as described in the Community Guidelines. FinancialPress responds to infringement notices and operates a repeat-infringer policy under the Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, and copyright complaints may be submitted by any person, with or without an account, through the process described there.
12. Adult and Sexual Content
The Platform is a professional financial environment and is not a venue for pornographic or sexually explicit Content. You may not publish such material. Content that sexualizes or endangers minors in any form is strictly prohibited under Section 10 and is treated with the highest severity.
13. Violence and Dangerous Content
You may not publish Content that threatens, glorifies, or incites violence, that promotes or coordinates dangerous or criminal activity, or that provides instructions for causing serious harm. Threats directed at any person are prohibited under Section 9 and this Section.
14. AI-Generated and Synthetic Content
Using generative or automated tools to assist in creating Content is not prohibited in itself. The Platform judges Content by whether it is genuine, relevant, and valuable, not by the tools used to produce it. Two limits apply. First, you may not use generative tools to mass-produce shallow, derivative, or misleading Content, which is prohibited as spam under Section 7. Second, you may not use synthetic media to deceive, including fabricated quotations, forged documents, or manipulated images or audio presented as authentic, which is prohibited under Sections 5 and 6. Where Content is materially generated by automated tools and its nature would otherwise mislead readers about its origin or reliability, you must disclose that it is AI-generated. Authenticity of authorship is foundational to a credibility-based platform, and synthetic content that misrepresents its source undermines it.
15. Disclosure Requirements
Disclosure is a condition of publishing certain Content, not an optional courtesy.
You must disclose any position you hold or intend to take in a security you are actively discussing or promoting. You must disclose any compensation, sponsorship, or material relationship that would reasonably affect how your Content should be understood, and you must do so clearly and at the point of publication. Content sponsored through the Platform is labeled as sponsored, and compensation arranged outside the Platform must still be disclosed by the contributor. Where Content is materially AI-generated in a way that would otherwise mislead, you must disclose that as described in Section 14. The Platform provides fields and prompts to make these disclosures straightforward, and further detail appears in the Community Guidelines and the Third-Party Advertising and Sponsored Content Disclosure. Failure to disclose is treated as deception and is among the more serious violations on the Platform.
16. Enforcement
We enforce this Policy under the Moderation and Enforcement Policy. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may apply context or sensitivity labels, reduce visibility, remove Content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts, and we may act immediately where safety, security, or legal compliance requires it. We apply this Policy with judgment and context and give weight to intent, severity, and history. Where an action affects you, the Appeals Policy explains how to seek review. We may update this Policy as the Platform evolves, and material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms of Service.
